알리바바 클라우드는 또 스타트업 지원을 위한 ‘AI 카탈리스트 프로그램’을 시작했다. 선정 기업은 모델 스튜디오에서 최대 20억 개 무료 토큰과 최대 12만 달러 상당의 클라우드 크레딧을 포함한 지원을 받게 된다.

회사는 스포츠, 자동차, 바이오제약 등 산업 전반에서 파트너들과 AI 응용을 확대하고 있다. 특히 NVIDIA와의 협력을 통해 휴머노이드 로보틱스 등 피지컬 AI 솔루션 개발을 가속화할 계획이다.

Alibaba Cloud to Open First Data Centers in Brazil, France, Netherlands; Expansion Planned for Korea, Mexico, Japan

libaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, said Thursday it will open its first data centers in Brazil, France and the Netherlands, with additional facilities planned for South Korea, Mexico, Japan, Malaysia and Dubai next year.

The expansion, announced at the Apsara Conference 2025, also includes new service centers in Indonesia and Germany to provide 24/7 multilingual customer support. Alibaba Cloud currently operates 91 availability zones across 29 regions worldwide.

“AI is reshaping the foundation of business innovation and growth,” said Dr. Feifei Li, vice president and global business president of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. “This global infrastructure expansion is designed to meet rising demand from forward-thinking customers.”

The company also launched the AI Catalyst Program to support startups with up to 2 billion free tokens on its Model Studio platform and as much as $120,000 in cloud credits.

Alibaba Cloud highlighted collaborations across industries such as sports, automotive, biopharma and marketing. A new partnership with NVIDIA will integrate the full Physical AI software stack to accelerate humanoid robotics and physical AI solutions.

Additionally, the company will co-host the Sports Data Hack Challenge in Europe with the International Skating Union and the International Olympic Committee, and deepen its cybersecurity partnership with beauty giant Shiseido in China.
